This Summer we graduated a group of women from our Artisans Thrive Training Program in rural Guatemala. It was a day of celebration alongside their family, friends, and community to celebrate each artisan's personal growth and the growth of their new artisan cooperative, Casa Rosa.
The women of Casa Rosa have been working extremely hard over the past couple months to create their business and product line. We were joined by designer, Carla Thomas, who led the group through the creative design process to design and develop a product that tells their unique story (see below!). The group is now in full production, continuing to learn how to work to together and overcome challenges as they arise. Learn more about them here.
We want to give our supporters a first-look at the Casa Rosa cross-body bag that will launch in Colorado this Fall.
The Leydi Cross-Body Bag (that can also be used as a clutch) was designed by and inspired by the Casa Rosa women. Many of the details of this bag represent the women and their community from the front pleating to the hand-printed interior.
These amazing bags will be available for purchase later this Fall. But you can pre-order here now! We'll only have a select amount so act fast!
